The Who were the original Mods, recording their first 45 as The High Numbers on Fontana in 1964. My Generation, released in 1965 established them for all time as one of the seminal mod bands of the 1960's, along others including The Small Faces, The Birds, The Action and The Artwoods. However, the Who went on to have a massive career long after the modernist years had passed and they leave behind an amazing legacy of rare vinyl ranging from the super rare original copies of the High Numbers single, through to Brunswick demos and acetates, rare albums, rare promos, EPs and literally hundreds of world wide released picture sleeves.
